Today I had to have a conversation with my daughter I never envisioned happening:
"Allyson, the bathwater has to stay in the tub."
Her reaction was priceless: She stared at me like I'd just told her Daddy and I were planning on selling her favorite Elmo doll (the one that giggles when you shake it - it has a floppy head, just like Terrance and Philip) and using the money to send Mommy to the day spa. Then she dumped another cupful of water onto the bathroom floor, and I had to remove her from the tub. Which got me yelled at, because child loves bathtime.
Now, which is worse: that I would consider selling Elmo for spa money, that it actually sounds like a good idea, or that I tossed out a South Park reference on a blog about my kid?
