Naptime is my favorite time of day.

Allyson is napping. Huzzah!

So I got a new laptop the other day. Not like my last couple of "new" computers - used ones Ben bought and fixed up - this is brand spanking new. It was not originally intended to be my laptop. Ben decided he needed a laptop for sound recording purposes (I have no idea how he got into sound recording) and this one had the specs he wanted. Then he got to looking at the one I had been using and decided its specs were better. The thing had been running slow anyway, so when he suggested switching I figured, what the heck?

Then he took it to work and cleaned it out. The previous owner smoked near their computer (note from the Computer Nerd: don't do that) and thus the thing had tons of dust in it. So he removed the dust and got it all shiny and now it runs fantastically. Whaaa? But I got a shiny new laptop out of the deal, so you don't hear me complaining! Now if only I could get used to this confounded keyboard...

Allyson does two new things that are in the running for my New Favorite Thing. Thing One is when she roars like a lion. I can't quite describe the sound, but it's hysterical. Thing Two is when we say bye-bye. She'll say, "Bye-bye. Soon." So cute!

Oh, and I am officially the new Cherub Choir director at my church. Basically it's a choir composed of kids ages 3, 4, and 5-year-olds that aren't in Kindergarten yet. And I would be lying if I said I knew what I was doing and what I was getting myself into. I suppose I'll figure it out. It'll be fun (plus they're paying me). I know I'll at least have one kid that'll be louder than the rest of them, and that next year said kid will probably be the one I gave birth to.

Anyway! There's that.

also, potty training tips are so appreciated.
