Go to sleep, kid!

It is bedtime. Ben is at a meeting for a committee he's on at church. Allyson should be asleep. Instead, she's yelling at me over the monitor. Mostly because she REALLY doesn't want to go to sleep. I have no idea what her problem is.

I think she has a touch of a cold - she woke up with a runny nose the other day. The doctor told us that if that happens, she's to get half a teaspoon of Children's Zyrtec before bed, because it makes her sleepy. In theory. Maybe I should give her some of the Hyland's teething pills - we did notice a couple of weeks ago that she's cutting her eye teeth. I don't think they're all the way through yet.

It's finally warming up here - it's supposed to be 64 degrees tomorrow! I think I may take Ally to the park after we go to the library. They've started this thing at our local one called Toddler Time. It's for kids 18-36 months old and they do stories, games and other activities. It's every Wednesday morning, and it appears to be free. So we're going to check that out.

The yelling has given way to loud grunting and the occasional cough. She's also talking to herself. Hopefully she'll fall asleep soon. Bleah.
