Somebody is a little tie-tie.

Allyson woke up this morning at... well, we don't really know because she was quiet when she woke up. For a switch. But when Ben went to wake her at 6:05 this morning (we had to be at church early) she was just sitting there, wide awake.

So, since she was up so early, I thought she'd nap today. Well, kids, they also thought the Titanic was unsinkable. So she refused her nap. At around 2:30 she started to act like sort of a pill. And by sort of a pill, I mean she spent the majority of the afternoon whining and she landed herself in time-out three times in a two-hour span. (First offense: Getting into a cabinet I warned her repeatedly to stay out of. Second offense: Opening the bathroom door while I was on the toilet. Hey, mommy likes her privacy sometimes. Third offense: Biting.)

So then dinner arrives. (Literally - we ordered pizza. Mmm, pizza.) We set her up with some breadsticks because she's an oddball and won't eat pizza toppings. Ben and I finish up our pizza, we look over... she is ASLEEP IN HER BREADSTICKS. So we woke her up (sort of) and Ben gave her a quick bath and is now putting her to bed an hour and a half earlier than normal. Nice.

As the old song goes, Mama said there'd be days like this.
