I'm looking up recipes for Mexican wedding cookies/tea cookies. I have a hankerin', I guess. So anyway, I'm browsing noted cookbook author Google for recipes, and came across a couple that always make me shake my head.
Apparently, adding either pineapple or coconut (or both, sometimes) to anything automatically makes it Hawaiian. Hawaiian chicken, Hawaiian tea cookies, Hawaiian beer, you get it.
Does that drive anyone else nuts, or am I just a special brand of weirdo?
